Introduction. It is not enough to only teach the language when teaching English to young students. The social and cognitive growth of the students must be taken into account during this difficult process. To achieve this, a setting that closely mirrors that of a child's natural environment must be created. Interesting activities are one of the finest methods to establish such a natural, anxiety-free environment. Songs unquestionably fall within the category of enjoyable activities that operate as effective language learning tools and do not put pressure on children to use the language before they are ready. One sort of listening that has a lot of promise is listening to songs. Songs and music are crucial components of development and education. Children enjoy singing, so it makes sense that teachers would utilize songs to engage students in language and concept learning. Songs have important qualities like being entertaining and having the power to keep students engaged. However, repetition is a song's most crucial component. In addition to teaching listening comprehension, pronunciation, and rhythm, they also contain language patterns and foster a positive environment. The majority of pupils definitely wouldn't grow bored even if the professors played music repeatedly throughout the day. Additionally, singing is a really healthy activity. Through the use of songs, a language can convey and be recycled in a variety of ways. They can be included into a lesson in a variety of ways and at any point during the class. Sometimes they serve only as warm-ups and fillers between lessons, other times they are the focus of a session, but other times they are simply there to provide a good time. This study explores the extent to which songs enhance vocabulary memory in light of all these advantages of songs in language learning. It also addresses the question of whether textual and audiovisual representations of linguistic information are more effective teaching tools for language acquisition than audio alone. Additionally, it demonstrates how songs have a significant impact on teachers' and students' enthusiasm to learn an English.
