Exercise 2. Translate into English. Use the complex only if the gerund 
has a subject different from that of the sentence. 
Model
: Он требовал, чтоб они ему немедленно заплатили. — 
Не insisted on their paying him at once. 
But: 
Она требовала, чтобы ей немедленно заплатили. — 
She insisted on being paid at once.
