1.The role of scholars of Uzbekistan in the development of Islamic teachings and secular sciences Scholars from Uzbekistan have played a significant role in the development of Islamic teachings and secular sciences throughout history. One of the most prominent figures is Imam Bukhari, who is known for his collection of Hadiths, which are considered one of the most authentic sources of Islamic teachings. Another notable scholar is Al-Khwarizmi, who is credited with the development of algebra and the use of Arabic numerals. In addition to their contributions to Islamic teachings, scholars from Uzbekistan have also made significant contributions to secular sciences. For example, Abu Rayhan al-Biruni, a polymath from Uzbekistan, made significant contributions to astronomy, mathematics, geography, and anthropology. He was also one of the first scholars to propose that the Earth rotates on its axis. Other notable scholars from Uzbekistan include Ahmad ibn Fadlan, who wrote a detailed account of his travels to the Volga River region, and Ali Qushji, who made significant contributions to astronomy and mathematics. These scholars, along with many others, have helped shape our understanding of the world and continue to inspire new generations of scholars in Uzbekistan and beyond. 2. Democratic reforms and state administration in Uzbekistan In recent years, Uzbekistan has implemented a range of democratic reforms and made progress in improving the country's state administration. One of the most significant reforms was the adoption of a new constitution in 2020, which strengthened protections for human rights and established a number of key democratic institutions. These included an independent judiciary, a constitutional court, and a Human Rights Ombudsman. Other important reforms have included efforts to improve transparency and accountability in government, including measures to combat corruption and improve public access to information. The government has also worked to decentralize power and strengthen local governance, allowing citizens to play a greater role in decision-making processes. In terms of state administration, Uzbekistan has been working to modernize and streamline its bureaucracy, reduce red tape, and improve efficiency. This has included the introduction of electronic public services and the establishment of a one-stop-shop for business registration and licensing. There is still much work to be done in Uzbekistan to address longstanding challenges related to human rights, corruption, and political freedoms. However, the country's recent reforms represent an important step forward in building a more democratic and effective state administration. Download 118.09 Kb. Do'stlaringiz bilan baham: |
