We enter a trade on order block when the market retest the order block
Also known as mitigation. 
STEPS TO NOTE BEFORE ENTERING A TRADE ON ORDER BLOCKS. 
• Identify the market trend 
• If market is in a downtrend look for sell entries and vice versa, spot OB on 
4h and 1h. 
• Enter OB trades that are valid i.e. visible BOS according to the market trend. 
• Look for entry on smaller timeframe to get best stop loss 
Most of you who are familiar with OB strategy will be asking some pro’s on the 
internet don’t look at the market trend before they take trades on OB, yes this is 
correct but as learners let’s stick to the market trend. It doesn’t mean you won’t 
make money on trades when you trade against the trend but I will say stick to the 
trend till you master it so you don’t get confused
while trading and looking for 
BUY and SELL opportunities on a single chart. Remember, the trend is your 
friend.

• Market is uptrend 
• Ob is spotted in red rectangular box above the arrow 
• BOS is spotted with the red thick rectangular box, clearly a broken 
resistance zone.

• You can see as market tried to retest/mitigate the order block we drew, it 
spiked up, so how would we have caught this on the smaller timeframe. I 
actually missed this entry myself.

Illustration 2 above shows how entries will have been made if I entered.
• I look for entries on m5 and m15, this is an m5 chart, the arrow is still 
indicating market has gotten to the h1 OB zone, what we need to look for on 
m5 is another OB and BOS
, so simple.

• As seen in the illustration 2 as market touched the h1 OB zone, it 
consolidated for a while on the m5 before shooting up, therefore in this 
process we look for a good BOS clearly a break out of a little resistance as 
drawn in the red box above, then the OB will be the long red candle in the 
bigger rectangular box before the move up to BOS.
• Then we will set a buy limit pending order on the body of the red candle 
immediately drawn by the bigger rectangular box, with a stop loss below the 
5m OB zone, then boom.
