The object of the study is the system of indicators specific to the development of direct foreign investment in the country's economy.
The purpose of the work: The purpose of the work is to research the development trends of direct foreign investments in the country's economy and to develop scientific proposals and practical recommendations on the basis of effective use of investments.
Research methods: Grouping, comparative analysis, structural analysis methods were used in the research work.
The results obtained and their novelty:
- the general theoretical foundations of attracting foreign direct investments are explained and the importance of attracting foreign direct investments for the national economy is revealed;
- improving the quality of investment programs and improving the mechanism of interaction between state bodies in state management of foreign investments;
- on the basis of determining regional characteristics and relative advantages, based on local production potential, measures were developed to attract foreign investments to certain promising sectors of the regions;
- Scientific proposals and practical recommendations aimed at improving the investment environment in Uzbekistan and increasing its attractiveness have been developed.
