Must / Should and ought to
Must is used in order to give strong advice.
e.g. This book is interesting. You should / ought to read it .
This book amazingly great. You must read it.
Had better
Had better is used in order to give advice recommendations and instructions. It is usually translated as ,, yaxshi bo’lar edi ‘’.
e.g. You had better learn this topic with attention.
They had better call me because I may forget about it.
S + had better + not + bare infinitive.
Had + S + better + bare infinitive?
e.g. She had better not buy this car. It is quite old.
Had she better buy this car?

WOULD LIKE
Would like is used in order to express wishes. After it we can use either full infinitive or noun.
e.g. I would like some coffee.
I would like to eat lavash right now.
We would like visit different countries together.
S + would + not + like + full infinitive
Would not like = wouldn’t like
e.g. We would not like too meet with them.
They wouldn’t like too much sugar in their tea.
Would like in interrogative sentences is used in order to ask somebody that they want to do something or something in a polite way.
e.g. Would you like to have a cup of coffee?
Would you like a cup of tea?
Would you like to join our group?
Would you like some ice cream?
TO BE SUPPOSED TO
To be supposed to is used when we are or someone else is expected to do something. Because it was arranged or planned before.
e.g. He is supposed to start the lesson at 5.
We are supposed read the book 5 times.
He was supposed to come at 4 o’clock.
PASSIVE VOICE FORMS OF MODAL VERBS
Active voice: S + modal verb + bare infinitive + C + M
Passive voice: S[c] + modal verb + be + verb 3 / ed + C + M
e.g. Snakes can separate their jaws.
Snake’s jaws can be separated by them.
Jack could see far distances in the past.
Far distances could be seen by Jack in the past.
The dog may / might bite you.
You may / might be bitten by dog.
All employees have to wear uniform.
Uniform has to be worn by all employees.
Shoira ought to water the flowers.
Flowers ought to be watered by Shoira.
Jack need clean his room. Jack need to clean his.
Jack’s room is needed to clean by him.
There is no Passive form of Would like.
