Dr Matthew Andrews - Pro Vice Chancellor Governance and Student Affairs at the University of Gloucestershire, UK.
Matthew’s role encompasses Student Services, Human Resources, Academic Registry, Academic Partnerships, Sustainability, and Communications, Marketing, and Student Recruitment. He is also Secretary to Council and the institutional lead for internationalisation and equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Prior to this Matthew’s career included roles as Academic Registrar at Oxford Brookes University, and Director of the Graduate School and Director of Undergraduate Recruitment at Durham University. Matthew has an interest in the history of universities as well as the contemporary sector and is the author of ‘Universities in the Age of Reform, 1800 – 1870: Durham, London, and King’s College’.
