Cases when Present Continuous is used 1. We use present continuous to express an action going on at the time of speaking
For example: I am going to school
2. We use present continuous to express an action happening around now but not at the actual moment of speaking and not finished. For example: I am reading Shakespeare`s novel (Now, I am not reading it, but I read every night, and not finished reading it
3. Present Continuous is also used to describe a near future action. The action should already been planned and is to happen certainly.
Example: I`m flying to Toronto next week He`s coming home in two hours
