Introduction of the course

The purpose of teaching this subject is:
To form students' basic knowledge of the use of English grammar in oral speech
To teach grammatical features, to provide knowledge on the application of grammatical structures and theories in context.

Forming the basic knowledge of English phonetics in students, teaching the characteristics of vowels and consonants, as well as imparting knowledge about accent, intonation and rhythm.

The task of the subject is: to teach and develop the students knowledge of English grammar and structural system, understanding, effectively use of various conjunctions, to analyze grammatical structures based on context.

To acquaint students with the English sound system, teach how to use vowels and consonants.

Students who completed the course: Possess English at least B1+, B2 level during the first course according to European standards; - acquiring the skills to know and use the grammatical and phonetic rules of the studied foreign language; - Acknowledge of grammatical and phonetic skills in the studied foreign language;

- logically express his/her opinions based on the modules of the linguistic course and topics; - to know the language courses and exercises that can be used in the basic and communicative process related to the phonetic and grammatical structures of a foreign language and to be able to use them in the speech process;

The student should know: - to be able to understand and must have a knowledge and skills to analyze authentic language materials taken from various press publications and other informative media publishers in a foreign language
