The attendant at the Housekeeping Desk will then prepare a “Maintenance Order” which is handed over to the Engineering Control Room. The Engineering Control Room, classifies the complaints and gives “work orders” to the concerned mechanic, carpenter, plumber, etc. who would go on his round of attending to such complaints. The room attendants role is to open the guest room where maintenance is required and under his/her supervision ensure that the maintenance work is complete in all respects.
