Literary works are being translated directly into Uzbek and Japanese. Unfortunately, 
several problems in the translation process still remain unresolved. One of such 
problems is difficulties in translation of realia and ways to overcome them. Realia 
are the same meaning words and expressions for country-specific which represent the 
name of items, ideas and events in the language of that country. 
The notion and previous study of realia and issues of its classification, as well 
as the study of Uzbek and Russian translation 
versions for realia used in “Heart” by 
Natsume Soseki and difficulties in the translation and ways to resolve them are 
highlighted in the research. The subject matter is the essence of Heart by Natsume 
Soseki, Uzbek translation by N.Aminova and Russian translation by N.I.Konrad. The 
peculiarities of translation from Japanese into Uzbek on the example of Heart by 
Natsume Soseki are scientifically examined in the research. 
There is no equivalent in the translation of realia in the foreign language, and 
the difficulties connected with the translation of realia in the original text due to 
national, historical colorit, and the decision of the issue is to use the transcript, i.e. to 
use the word without the translation and give the explanation of realia.
