INTRODUCTION (abstract of the PhD dissertation) 
The aim of the research work is to reveal the role of women in the 
development and establishment of tourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 1991-
2021, their active participation in the life of society and the significance of their 
involvement in this area. 
The object of the research work was the participation of women of the 
Republic of Uzbekistan in the development of tourism. 
Scientific novelty of the research work: 
transformation processes in the environment of modern women's 
entrepreneurship, based on forms of embroidery, embroidery, carpet weaving, 
jewelry and homeworking, and free competition, in the development of the tourism 
industry of Uzbekistan, as well as complex activities, growth rates and practical 
results aimed at popularizing women's best practices have been proven 
entrepreneurs, farmers, industrial development in remote regions; 
the socio-legal factors associated with the increase in the number of 
ambitious and enterprising business women among the socially active part of the 
population are revealed, the improvement of the system for protecting the rights of 
business women with the support of government and non-government 
organizations, international funds and grant projects, the creation of favorable 
conditions in the labor market by allocating targeted financial resources; 
the strengthening of the legal foundations of family business in the country, 
the social significance of the state program “Every Family is an Entrepreneur”, the 
restoration of dynastic traditions in women’s entrepreneurship, including 
increasing the economic activity of women based on the project “From Family 
Entrepreneurship to a Strong Family”, ensuring their employment have been 
proven, problems and periodic stages of attracting small businesses and 
entrepreneurship, communication between government and non-government 
organizations in this process; 
shows the importance of progressive processes associated with the beginning 
of a new era in the national development of Uzbekistan (2016-2021), the 
parameters for the development of women's entrepreneurship in the field of 
tourism as a result of the movement of national recovery, the created favorable 
investment environment and the effectiveness of tax incentives, using advanced 
innovative ideas based on the achievements of modern science.
