A few months ago, I went on a cruise to the islands of Hawaii with my parents. It was great! On the first day, we flew in a plane to the island of Honolulu and then a helicopter took us around the island. It was very beautiful. There were amazing beaches, a harbour full of ships and a tropical forest filled with interesting animals. But what really impressed me was when I saw a real volcano!

On the second day of our trip, we visited the island of Maui. We hiked into a forest and went swimming in a lake below a stunning waterfall. It was so much fun!

The next day, we travelled to Hawaii. We tried lots of tasty traditional Hawaiian dishes like Kalua pig and laulau. We also ate lots of delicious fresh fruit – like pineapples, papayas and mangos – that grow right on the island! I loved it – pineapple is my favourite fruit!

On the last day, we went souvenir shopping then flew home. It was such a wonderful trip. I want to do it again next year!
