As a general manager of the marketing and management department at Hotel TossaMar, I am writing this evaluation of the trainee for the participant Akhmedov Sherzod who has been graduating at Riga Technical University. He has worked there as an assistant manager for six months, starting from July 15, 2022. During this period, the department made a detailed program of weekly and monthly tasks to help him organize the traineeship period effectively. It required the participant to get acquainted with tourism and hospitality industry enterprises.

Additionally, I monitored him to understand the peculiarities of the hotel's operation and management system. Then I saw him as one of the best candidates for the position after he graduated from the university. Sometimes, I realized he has average knowledge in evaluating the business environment and analyzing finances. At the same time, with his open-minded character, he got on well with visitors and the hotel staff. During my career as a supervisor, I faced many practitioners who do not work or make decisions independently. But I can not give these descriptions for Sherzod. With his passion and suggestions to guide the hotel to progress, the department made some agreements for future modernizations.
Moreover, there are many opportunities for traineeships to strengthen theoretical knowledge about commercial activities of tasks and functions of management. I am sure Sherzod used them and practised his professional competencies, such as managing the tasks managers gave in a quality manner, assessing critically and analyzing commercial outcomes and incomes.
