V. Civic Responsibilities
V. Civic responsibilities encompass the duties and obligations citizens have towards their communities, 
government, and society at large. Engaging in civic activities such as voting, jury duty, and volunteering 
in local organizations is not only a responsibility but also a way to contribute to the betterment of society. 
It also means taking an active interest in political and social issues, staying informed and participating 
in public affairs. Civic responsibilities also include obeying laws and regulations, paying taxes, and 
participating in the democratic process by holding elected officials accountable for their actions. Fulfilling 
civic responsibilities creates a sense of belonging and strengthens communities. However, it is important 
to note that civic responsibilities are not limited to individuals. Organizations and institutions also have 
civic responsibilities, such as corporate social responsibility and the provision of public goods and 
services.

and concerns on political issues without resorting to violence or hatred against others. By fulfilling these 
political responsibilities, citizens can contribute towards a stable and just democratic society.
