The master's thesis of Utedjanova Dilbar is a study of strategy of Decompression in Simultaneous Interpretation. The object of the research is conference materials and translation techniques.
The subject of the research Interpretation Methods such as Compression and Decompression. This research paper focuses on the appliance of speech compression methods and the factors causing the changes in SI. It also emphasizes the ways of using these techniques appropriately.
This thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters, summaries after chapters, a general conclusion, a list of references.
The first chapter of the work is about the theoretical part of the study. Modern theoretical concepts of simultaneous interpretation and the history of simultaneous interpretation are mentioned at the beginning of the Chapter I. The ideas and experiences of one of the first synchronic translators Siegfried Ramler, Gile, AlSalaman, Al-Khanji, Jones and many other eminent scholars are supplemented as the main scientific object of this point.
The second chapter is devoted to the study of the features of simultaneous translation, from the point of view of the preparation process and its implementation and research interest among domestic and foreign linguists, which is due to both the increasing need for this type of interpretation in the context of the active development of economic, political and cultural ties between various states, and the increasing quality requirements.
The third chapter of the research deals with an analysis of the press conference about the consequences of negotiations and the information about interpreter’s working conditions.
The conclusions summarize the general results of the scientific work.
The structure of thesis leaves a very positive impression, allowing the author to analyze the ways of the origin of words and colorfulness, meaningfulness from other languages.
The scientific, theoretical and practical significance of the research is determined primarily by the innovative nature of the formulation and solution of the problem. The theoretical significance of this research work is due to its novelty and lies in the fact that it aims at comprehending the possibilities of choosing the right linguistic vocabulary. The practical significance of this study lies in the possibility of using the findings in teaching students the ability to choose and properly use modern dictionaries.
The results of the work can be used in training courses, practice books, in the preparation of special courses and seminars on the relevant topic.
This work is an interesting scientific study in its novelty, theoretical and practical significance, the level of research; meets the requirements for master's thesis. The goals and objectives set by the dissertation have been successfully solved. The author, Utedjanova Dilbar undoubtedly deserves to be awarded a master's degree.
