Abstract— This article describes about the spectrum
utilization of Universal Filtered Multi Carrier (UFMC). UFMC is
a multi-carrier modulation technique in fifth generation network
(5G). In this paper, we review the different modulation techniques
in 5G technology and motivate the need of UFMC technique in 5G
