1.Introduction
The main indicators of the development of the automobile industry in 2019-2023 have been determined - the President's decision
The decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures for the rapid development of the automobile industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was adopted.

The President's decision was adopted in order to increase the investment attractiveness and rapid development of the automobile industry, to introduce modern market mechanisms and management methods based on advanced foreign experiences, as well as to create a competitive environment in domestic and foreign production markets.

According to it, the main indicators of the development of the automobile industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2019-2023 are defined as follows:
increase the volume of production of passenger cars to 350,000 units per year;
bringing the localization level of passenger cars to an average of 60%
increase the volume of production of trucks and buses to 10,000 units;
to increase the annual volume of car exports to 100,000 units;
introduction of modern methods of corporate management, as well as the automated computer system "ERP";
updating the range of car models, including the production of a new and modern passenger car that can be purchased by a wide segment of the population
Attracting investors through the initial public offering (IPO) of shares of at least two joint-stock companies that are part of ‘’Uzavtosanoat achj’’ on national and international stock markets.

ON ADDITIONAL MEASURES FOR THE RAPID DEVELOPMENT OF THE AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN
The Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade and "Uzavtosanoat"MCHJ, which is responsible for preparing specific proposals for the following within a month, involving leading foreign companies and international experts take steps to establish a permanent project office at ‘’UZavtosanoat MCHJ’’:
development of a strategy for more rapid development of the automobile industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2023;
increase the investment attractiveness of the automobile industry, including through the unification of tax and customs motor vehicles and their components;
organization of additional productions that will allow to increase the level of utilization of spare parts and components and reduce the volume of imports;
development of scientific-research and pilot-design works in the priority segments of production of spare parts and components, establishment of national engineering centers;
