INTRODUCTION (abstract of the PhD thesis)
The aim of research work is to develop
scientific and practical
recommendations related to improving the medical and geographical situation in
the Samarkand and Navoi regions by assessing the influence of geographical
factors on the regional composition of the population’s
diseases and the
nosogeographic situation.
The object of the research work are diseases that occur among the
population of Samarkand and Navoi regions and their territorial differentiation.
Scientific novelty of the research work:
based on the analysis of the relationship
between the geoecological
circumstance and the health of the population, the medical and geographical
condition of the region was estimated (at
a favorable, relatively favorable,
relatively
unfavorable, unfavorable, very unfavorable level) and on this basis the
territorial differences in the incidence of the population were revealed.
the degree of influence of natural (climate, water, relief) and socio-economic
(density and lifestyle of the population,
location of settlements, economic
specialization) factors on the geographical distribution of diseases was assessed, on
the basis of which natural and geographical areas were divided;
based on the optimization of
the nosogeographic situation, nosogeographic
and medical service maps of the Samarkand region with a scale of 1: 350,000 and
Navoi region 1: 600,000 were created;
according to the dynamics of types of diseases (for brucellosis, diseases of the
gallbladder and gastrointestinal tract), forecasts were developed until 2030.
