Mukhtarov Chairman of the scientific seminar under the Scientific council on awarding scientific degrees, Doctor of art history, professor 79 INTRODUCTION (abstract of the thesis of the DSc) The object of the research work is the process of historical development of gaming cinema of Uzbekistan over the past one and a half centuries - from the moment of its appearance in Turkestan as an element of spectacular culture and commercial enterprise to the present, when one can speak about the established school of national cinema and the developing film industry. The aim of the research. The purpose of the study is a comprehensive study of the development paths of cinema of Uzbekistan in the context of socio-cultural transformations. Scientific novelty of the research consists of the following: for the first time, archival materials were introduced into the scientific circulation, reflecting the history of the development of the game cinema of Uzbekistan; the exact periodization of the main stages of the formation, formation and development of the national cinema has been determined; The conclusion that Uzbekistan, thanks to its historical mission as a crossroads of cultural interaction between the East and the West and the region with a developed urban structure, was naturally the birthplace of cinema in Central Asia, was fully substantiated and entered into scientific circulation; scientific analysis of the processes of formation and development of the game cinema of Uzbekistan is considered as a resource base for the development of programs to promote the current creative trends in the film industry; revealed the main typological models of national filmmaking, professional filmmaking, film screenings; a historical-comparative analysis and a critical assessment of the ideological and aesthetic qualities of the most significant and fundamental from the point of view of innovative film searches were carried out; investigated the most significant professional problems facing the national screen art at different stages of its development; scientifically substantiated the diversity of relations of individual parties of cinema with socio-historical phenomena, the search for patterns of these relations and the reasons for the popularity or rejection of individual movie models in specific historical situations; made recommendations and proposals for the preservation of national film heritage and the development of cinema.
