Abstract
This article deals with the theoretical information about English idioms and some scholars ideas for idioms are also given. Besides, several English idioms with road signs components and examples for every idioms in the article are mentioned. We also have tried clear explanation English road signs idioms.

Introduction
In globalized world, knowing foreign languages is one of the crucial way in order to develop society. One of the common language which individuals around the world, are learning is English and it demands learners to learn every components of lexis such as idioms. However, every language owns idioms according to their culture, history, religion and so on. Thus, Both English and Uzbek languages have idioms with road components.
Some of the researchers mentioned “Today, the use of idioms in everyday life is developing. We know that there are many idioms in English language and you can find such kind of idioms. However, it is very difficult to translate these idioms into our mother tongue. As well as, idioms are difficult to define or describe in exact terms”(1)
