Table of Contents________________________________________________ Acknowledgement 2 Introduction 4 IntroductionMany countries of the world have designated tourism as one of the national key economic sectors (NKEA). This is the part of the government's policy to diversify countries’ income and focus less on exports. According to the statistics, overall, the total contribution of travel and tourism to the global GDP amounted to roughly 5.8 trillion U.S. dollars in 2021 . Uncontrollable tourism advancement moreover made negative affect towards the nearby societies and environment (Javier & Elazigue, 2011). It such, a got to create a more secure approach towards tourism is needed, which leads to the integration of tourism within the government improvement plans. In this way, one of the government organizations which played a major part in guaranteeing the maintainability of tourism improvement is the neighborhood specialists (LAs) (Javier & Elazigue, 2011). The neighborhood specialists play critical parts on the victory of its nearby tourism industry, as well as have a solid impact in moderating the environment (Dig & Moore, 1992; Inskeep, 1994). Hence, legitimate arranging and choice making by the LAs in arrange to preserve the victory of nearby tourism industry without dismissing the natural conservation is vital. In spite of LAs’ obligation in encouraging the tourism advancement in their range of ward, they are moreover challenged and burdened in satisfying other center obligation which is serving the neighborhood community (Javier & Elazigue, 2011) Aim of the study: The purpose of project is to suggest several options to discuss and develop eliminating barriers in tourism for both local and international tourism. Significance of the study: This study provides more information about eliminating barriers in tourism for both local and international tourism. For so many years, I have tried to give an understanding of what problems and obstacles tourism has faced and what work has been done or what work needs to be done to overcome them. Key governmental ministers that played a role in ensuring the sustainability of tourism industry, less research has been done in identifying and understanding the problems being faced by them in integrating tourism in their development planning. Therefore, knowing the constraining factors that restrained the one country from strategically integrating tourism in their development planning will help to identify what are the exact causes of the problem and indirectly provides the way to resolve this issue. For that reason, the objective of this paper is to discuss the barriers that faced by countries in integrating tourism in their development planning. Research gap Research questions The first section of the paper discussed the previous literature about the barriers faced by the local authorities in integrating tourism in their development planning. The second section continues with the explanation of research method used in this research. Then, follow with the main findings section.
