  1. INTRODUCTION

Everyone wants to study foreign languages because English has become a global language and the present globalization process necessitates having close ties to other nations. Learning a foreign language is another step in the development of our nation, as our first President said. The advancement of science in general and linguistic science in particular is linked to the resolution of actual scientific issues as well as state internal and external policies, the upholding of state educational standards that serve as the engines of progress in the social and economic spheres.1
Development of science as a whole, and linguistic science in particular, is linked to elements of domestic and foreign policy of the state, the upkeep of state educational standards, and other factors that are key drivers of advancement in the social and economic society. It creates a civilization that can quickly adjust to the demands of the modern world. (Sh. Mirziyoyev. T. Uzbekistan, 2017. 104 p.)
In addition, it is envisaged that university modules, especially in technical and international areas, will be offered in English and other foreign languages at higher education institutions. 2(On December 10, 2012 the first President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a decree “On measures to further improve foreign language learning system”).3
This course paper is devoted to study of the semantic systems of English language and mainly it focuses on Neologisms. Linguistic semantics is the study of how languages arrange and express meanings, while semantics is the scientific study of meaning.
The focus of this work is linguistic semantics; however, we must restrict ourselves to the expression of meanings in the English language.
We occasionally compare English to other languages throughout the book, but these comparisons are aimed to highlight language distinctions rather than to provide comprehensive explanations of all possible variations.
