Keywords: Innovative approaches and methods, critical thinking and case-method. Today, learning foreign languages has become a habit. But learning also has its own methods and techniques. If we take the example of English, which is evolving day by day, the time spent learning it depends on theoretical and practical knowledge, because how and when you learn it is important. What you need mostly right now is the method you are using, and using this method will allow you to not only learn thoroughly, but also quickly learn the knowledge and skills you have acquired. Most of us know that we have more theoretical knowledge and forget this when it comes to practical knowledge. In the past, teachers explained the materials in the book to the students and gave them exercises, but now we live in an advanced age where all kinds of teaching and learning methods are used, and as a result, an innovative approach is widely used. Nowadays, almost everyone has small devices and computers that they can use whenever they want. This innovative approach has opened wonderful and important doors for teaching students. This laid the groundwork for us to acquire and consolidate the knowledge we needed at any time. We can not only be limited by theoretical knowledge, but also apply it in practice. But everything has its pros and cons, and that leads to some problems. To enumerate them, first of all, the majority of teachers in higher education institutions provide theoretical education based on an innovative approach, but we should not be limited to this, as theoretical knowledge will not be useful until it is tested in practice. Second, it has been observed that some university graduates do not have practical knowledge skills, which can lead to problems in their future careers. In addition, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev Miromonovich signed many resolutions on improving the system of teaching foreign languages, and it should be noted that great importance is attached to the training of effective and quality personnel in foreign languages. Ensuring the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 20, 2017 No PP-2909 "On measures to further develop the system of higher Журнал «Студенческий вестник» № 7 (152), часть 3, 2021 г. 70 education", as well as remuneration of employees of higher education and research institutions in order to improve the payment system, it is planned to equip higher education institutions with modern information and communication technologies, expand access to world educational resources, electronic catalogs and databases of modern scientific literature for students, teachers and young researchers of higher education institutions. And this is another important practical step in the development of the system of continuing education, the assurance of the country's growing economy with highly qualified personnel, expanding the participation of the higher education system in addressing issues of strategic integrated development of all regions and sectors. Providing students with high-quality knowledge and improving their thinking skills is no exception. Seminars at universities are organized specifically for independent thinking, exchanging ideas and tend to the case-study methods. It is no exaggeration to say that this is an innovative approach to solving existing problems in the minds of students. The problem of introducing the case method into the practice of higher professional education is currently very relevant, which is due to the general orientation of the development of education, not so much toward obtaining specific knowledge, but rather as the formation of professional competence, skills and thinking skills, development of personality abilities. On the one hand, the seminar can provide not only theoretical but also practical knowledge. On the other hand, many pupils and students are able to critical thinking, but are unable to express their opinions, they afraid to express their views and make mistakes. But it depends on how the teacher conducts the lesson: the person who teaches the students how to behave, how to pay attention to them, and how to approach them correctly is the teacher. I have to say that the technologies in our hands that have become part of us today are causing some problems. For example, some younger generations are now addicted to the smartphones, their passion for reading has waned, and as a result, their behaviors and attitudes have changed. In foreign language teaching, lessons are now conducted in video form in all educational institutions and we can see that this will lead to a decrease in demand for books by students. The importance of the book in an innovative approach, whether theoretical knowledge or practical, is important. Some teachers are unable to use the right methods, and as a result, students’ attitudes toward the lesson will change radically and the quality of the lesson will decline. But taking a lesson based on an innovative approach and interpreting it correctly can appeal to every student. Education today is closely linked to technology. The use of innovation in education leads to time savings, the use of the necessary materials and an increase in the quality of the lesson. The bottom line is that innovative approaches and methods are contributing to our current education with positive outcomes. Download 3.52 Mb. Do'stlaringiz bilan baham: |
