On june 8-10 , 2018 , the President of the of Uzbekistan Savkat Mirziyoyev will be in the People's Republic of China and will participate in the meeting of the Council of Heads State of the SCO members countries. Internatoinal experts have already said that this summit is of historical importance in the activity of the structure they are talking about opening a new page.

As one of the founders of the SCO, Uzbekistan participates equally with other members in determining the copperation strategy within the organization. Our country will continue the policy strictly in accordance with the goals tasks and principles set out in the SCO Charter and other documents defining its basis , and implement initiatives related to ensuring the security and stability , economic well - beingand devolepment of the countries of the region.
