It's celebrated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, and various outdoor activities. Thanksgiving Celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November, Thanksgiving is a time when families and friends gather to express gratitude and enjoy a festive meal. It's a tradition to serve roast turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. Halloween Celebrated on October 31st, Halloween is a fun-filled holiday where both kids and adults dress up in costumes and go trick-or-treating. It's also common to decorate homes with spooky decorations and carve pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns. Christmas is a widely celebrated holiday in the United States, observed on December 25th. It's a time when families exchange gifts, decorate Christmas trees, and enjoy festive meals together. Santa Claus is a central figure, believed to bring gifts to children. New Year's Eve: As the clock strikes midnight on December 31st, people across the country gather to celebrate the start of the new year. Traditions of the USA The United States has a wide range of traditions that are celebrated throughout the year. College Graduation Ceremonies: Graduating from college is a significant milestone in the United States, and commencement ceremonies are held at universities nationwide. Students wear caps and gowns, listen to commencement speeches, and receive their diplomas in front of proud family and friends. SUPER BOWL SUNDAY The Super Bowl, the championship game of the National Football League (NFL), is a major event in the United States. People gather with friends and family to watch the game, enjoy snacks, and participate in friendly competitions like Super Bowl squares or guessing the game's outcome. State Fairs State fairs are popular summertime traditions in many states across the country. They feature amusement rides, games, live entertainment, agricultural displays, and various types of unique and indulgent foods like deep-fried treats and funnel cakes.
