Türkiye\'de Âşık Edebiyatı Öğretimi Sorunlar ve Çözüm Önerileri

Abstract Minstrel literature has been continuing from pre-Islamic period to our day and within this context, it is classified as traditional. This literature, which is identified with Turkish social life, has undertaken important functions such as the expression of the feelings of individuals living under the same roof, conserving cultural codes and transferring these to the future and forming a national conscience. From this point of view, it is of great importance to teach Minstrel literature to all the individuals of a nation whether they are interested in this literature or not and to create an awareness about this in social memory as well as keeping Minstrel literature alive in master hands in a world where borders have vanished and cultural variety has decreased. In our study, teaching/the methods of teaching of Minstrel literature in secondary and higher education institutions were dwelt upon. New methods were identified and the kind of teaching method that needs to be adapted according to structuralist approach was identified.
