Duration of the stay: September 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024 – 5 months in total

I am Bekzodjon Abdurazzakov, I have been studying at the Tashkent Institute of Finance, and I am a junior and full-time student there. My major is Accounting and Auditing. I got into the institute in 2020 and I will graduate in June 2024, At the moment I am doing my third year’s second semester at the institute. I have been accepted by Comenius University in Bratislava and willingly push my study

forward at the faculty of Management of this university.

I have been going through subjects for my study in the faculty of Management and I have chosen 6 subjects, which I am passionate about picking up new things and using wisely to build up my future career. The subjects which I have decided to study are Databases, Development of Entrepreneurial skills, International Economic Relations, Management of Start-ups and Small Firms, Introduction of

Entrepreneurship, and Marketing. Each subject consists of 5 credits and the total credits of subjects are 30, so we have to choose a total of 30 credits to apply for the National Scholarship Program.

To begin with, I am engrossed in learning new things about business management since I have a family business specializing in a Confectionery Company and it is located in my hometown called Akdarya, Samarkand. The company is not so big as others in which employees work, almost 10 employees work there at a reasonable salary, we are brothers and parents running the company together. I have a burning desire to develop the family business to the fullest to provide more opportunities to customers at anything.

However, I don’t have enough database theory to place workers’ salaries and information to save their identities from any circumstances and to upskill computer skills based on improving the social stand of my family business, so that is the reason why I have chosen the subject and will have a good chance to learn this subject from professional teachers namely(doc. RNDr. MichalGreguš, PhD., Mgr. KarolSchulz, Mgr. LumbardhaHasimi. Moreover, I eagerly want to enhance my skills related to Entrepreneurship basics, I have picked up those subjects which are fundamentally chosen Management of Start- ups and Small firms, Introduction of Entrepreneurship, and Development of Entrepreneurial skills, I believe that those above-mentioned subjects are focused on taking my family business to the next level, I will also learn them from able teachers, doc. PhDr. MarianHolienka, PhD., Mgr. MilošMrva, PhD., Mgr. JurajMikuš, Ph.D., and so on.

As for Marketing and Economic Relations, they are crucially important to extend my business’ to collaborate with foreign collogues at a perfection of level. Promotion and advertisement regarding Marketing skills which I will surely embark on having a high command of business in Global Village. Furthermore, I have a strong passion for marketing specifically marketing analyses, marketing reasoning, strategies, marketing research, and so on. Teachers from two subjects are Mgr. FrantišekOlšavský, PhD., prof. Mgr. Peterdoc. PhDr. PaulínaMihaľová, PhD.
