Theme: Pets and domestic animals.
Annotation. This lesson informs you how to talk about wild animals, their appearance, habitat, the things they can do.It consist of seven activities, songs.
Key words: a snake, a bear, a crocodile, an elephant, to climb, to straggle, to run, jump , to swim, can, can’t.
The motto of the lesson: “Make hay while sun shines”.
The aim of the lesson: talking about animals appearance, habitat , the actions they can do.
Educational aim : According to the lessons of educational purpose to improve pupils oral speech , vocabulary, knowledge .Teach pupils new grammar rules, to revise can, can’t for ability.
Socio-cultural aim : According to the lesons of upbringing purpose to raise pupils personal qualities like behavior, idea-political knowledge , to form their developing skills and abilities.
Developmental aim : According to the lessons of developmental purpose to improve pupils personal skills, English learning , motivational skills, develop pupils self-educational skills, analyzing and systematizing skills of knowledge, to develop reporting own ideas.
Competence of the lesson: K1 , K3 , K4.
Type of the lesson : Lessons of telecommunication of new knowledge, combined and mixed lessons, lessons of vertification, lessons of fixation.
Metodology of the lesson: Traditoinal, interactive , modern, new technology.
Materials and equipments: Textbook Fly-high 5, different colored pictures, Internet, Computer, projector, flashcards, stickers, markers, grammar tables and grammar books.

Teacher divided pupils into three groups,they are:
1)Clever pupils. 2)Intelligence pupils. 3)Faster pupils.
Teacher says: Good morning, pupils!
Pupils say: Good morning, teacher!
Teacher says: How are you today?
Pupils say: We are fine today.
Teacher says: Are you ok?
Pupils say: Yes we are.
Teacher says: How is called the 2016th year by our president?
Pupil says: Our president Islam Karimov called this year “Healthy mother and healthy child”.
Teacher says: That’s why what we should do ?
Pupil says: Brushing teeth, washing face, hands every day.
Teacher says: Ok, what else?
Pupil says: Doing morning exercises.
Teacher says: Very good, what else?
Pupil says: Having a shower, swimming
Teacher says: You are active my smarts, what else?
Pupil says: Going for sports in free times?
Teacher says: Well, what else?
Pupil says: Healthy life, eating delicious meals, fresh fruits, vegetables, breathing from fresh air.
Teacher says: Ok. Who is on duty today?
Pupil says: I am on duty today.
Teacher says: Who is absent today?
Pupil says: All are present today.
Teacher says What season is it now?
Pupil says: It is winter now.
Teacher says: How is the weather?
Pupil says: The weather is warm, the sun is shining.
Teacher says: What day and date is it today?
Pupil says: Today is Monday. Today is the 29th of February.
Teacher says: Ok ,very good. Before checking your hometasks , lets remember our song about daily routine:
Warm up: “ Are you sleeping”

Teacher says: Did you like it?
Pupils say: Yes we are.
Teacher says: What was your hometask for today?
Pupil says: Our hometask was making up sentences,ex 2,3.
2.Checking of homeworks and remember previous lessons:
Teacher says: Please, Muhammadyusuf read your sentences.
Muhammadyusuf: My father likes horse, but mum doesn’t like them.
After that teacher checked other pupils sentences, like this.Teacher marks all pupils according participation for the lesson.
3.New theme: Pets and domestic animals.
Please, open your notebooks, write down new words.
Objective: To present new vocabulary, to improve their oral speech, mainly their phonetic pronunciation.
Vocabulary:

Activity2. Make up sentences from this new words and using the modal verb “can”.
Objective:To improve pupils grammar.
1.My dog can jump, run and walk. 2.Snakes can straggle and swim. 3.Tigers can run fast. 4.Rabbits can run and jump.
Activity3.Animals diagram.
Objectives:To raise pupils awareness about animals ,also to develop their speaking.
I called this diagram “What can do animals?”I want two valenteers from every group, you should tick the diagram and write your sentences in the blackboard, and translate your sentences.



1.Bears can cimb and swim. 2.Crocodiles can straggle and swim. 3.Eagles can fly. 4.Monkeys can climb, jump and run. 5. Elephants can run slow and swim.6.Frogs can jump and swim.
Activity4.Animal box.
Objective:To develop pupils self-educational skills, to analize and systematize skills of knowledge.
In this game I need 3valenteers from each group, they should come to the blackboard and stand with back as triangle, every pupil has an animal box, when teacher begins to say some animal’s name, these pupils should find that animal from the box very fast and show other pupils.
If any pupil showed wrong animal, that pupil should leave the game, the activity continued like this,at the end of the game the fastest and the cleverest pupil will be winner. For example:
Teacher says: Tiger. Pupil shows: Tiger(from the box)……
If you tired lets sing a song together:”Rain, rain go away ”
Rain, rain go away ,come again another day.
Ben my dog wants to play, rain, rain, go away.
Rain, rain go away, come again another day.
My Harry horse wants to play, rain, rain go away.
Now, lets continue our lesson.
Activity5.Touch the animal and give a name.
Objective: to improve the feelings of the pupil,to form their developing skills, to talk about animal’s appearance.
In this game pupil comes to the blackboard and that time teacher hides that pupil’s eyes with scarf,pupil should touch one animal from the table and give a name for chosen animal,it is very interesting game.For-ex: hen…,rooster…,pig….
Activity6. Write the words in order.
Objective:to consolidate the lesson, to analize their writing,to raise attentiveness.

Activity7. Draw the animal and make up sentences using “can”.
Objective:to improve pupil’s creativeness,work independently,to strengthen the lesson.
Teacher gave them sheets, every group pupils should draw the animal,paint them and make up sentences using modal verb “can”.For-ex:
The Intelligence pupils:”Bear”….another group snake,tiger.
Bears can swim. Bears can not straggle. Bears can swim and run.
4.Grammar and Strengthening the lesson:Modal verb “can”.
Umuman olganda ingliz tilida 30 ga yaqin modal fel bo’lib,ularning asosiy fellardan farqi harakatni ifodalamaydi, faqatgina modallik ma’nosini beradi . Shulardan biri “ can” modal fe’lidir.
“Can” modal fe’li -qila olmoq, qo’ldan kelishlik, qobilyat, aqliy va jismoniy qobilyatni bildiradi,shuningdek harid qila olish manolarini bildiradi.Masalan:
1)I can play chess.(aqliy qobilyat) 2)Anvar can swim.(jismoniy qobilyat)
In our today’s lesson “What can animals do?”ya’ni “Hayvonlar nima qila oladi?” For-ex: Dogs can bite,jump and run. Tigers can run fast.
Shuningdek, so’roq shaklida can egadan oldinga o’tib oladi,bo’lishsiz shaklida esa can ga not yuklamasini qo’shiladi.Masalan:
Can I play piano? I can not speak French.
Teacher gives questions from today’s lesson for consolidating:
a.What do you know about the modal verb ”can” ? b.Count the wild animals? c.What animal can climb? d.What animal can straggle? e.What animal can fly? e.What animal can run fast?
5.Assessment:
Marking pupils according participation for the lesson, doing activities, making up sentences, answering the questions, doing puzzles and crosswords.
6.Homework:
Ex:1,2. on page , Lesson , Unit ,to learn new words, make up five sentences using modal verb “Can”.
