The Internet's drawbacks. If you aren't aware of Internet safety rules and instruction you will loose your personal information and secrets. Your photos, images, private documents will be attacked by unanimous people. Cyber bullying is one of the widespread crimes in the interconnected network. Cyberbullying is sending messages to threaten or insult someone. Cyberbully may demand for something he needs and threatens someone by saying that he'll do something bad. Moreover, writing posts in social networking websites can at times problematic to individuals and organisations. Because it will lead to backlashes from the other internet users. Backlash is a negative reaction, a statement expressing opposition and a strong protest. Backlashes can be of a violent or abrupt nature and can range from counter- arguments and public mockery, through insults, hate speeches, to, in extreme cases, rape and death threats. Many individuals have tendency to behave more stridently and offensively than they would in person. Users of Facebook, Twitter and MySpace websites can take advantage of news to socialize and interact. Users can add a wide range of information to pages, to pursue common interests, connect with others, find acquaintances, allow communicate among existing groups. YouTube and Flicker are specialized in users' videos and photograph. In addition, the internet is full of entertainment and leisure activity. Internet provides the tools as groupware, virtual private networks, conference calling, videoconferencing,and voice over IP so that work may be performed from any distance. It saves perceptible amounts of travel time and cost. But sometimes internet disruptions, interruption, blackout, internet slowdown and internet outage will occur. What does happen to the internet in the situations above? In disruption the internet is prevented from continuing in its usual way. In interruption the internet is stopped temporarily. Blackout occurs when some news or information should not be revealed so that the internet will be stopped temporarily or for long period according to situation. Slowdown is the decreasing of the internet speed caused by some technical problems. In outage internet cannot be provided for some period. All of above defects can caused by local signalling interruptions, submarine communications cables' disruptions, small number of high-capacity links, vulnerable land cables, Internet censorship. So these are my general gained knowledge about the internet. We had our Online-lessons successfully using the internet opportunities. I must admit that my eyes got really tired when I looked for long hours at the screen of my phone. Others are acceptable. Especially, educational materials that provided by our teachers, brief and exact explanations made our knowledge increase.
