Sustainability Efficiency in Architecture

Scope and Delimitation

Our research is all about understanding the impact of sustainable architecture and its importance in present day architecture.

This study will mainly identify and assess different sustainable architecture practices, primarily strategies for public building and their usefulness; focusing on the reliability and the demand for such architecture within the urban areas around the Globe.
Also, this study yearns to identify how the researchers aim to determine how to provide architects with sustainable design advice; as well as providing the benefits of sustainable architecture and the reduced operational costs in the short and/or long term.

Moreover, we will narrow down the scope of this study which as follows:

  Define the existing residential buildings whether to change the existing ones or to build a new sustainable one.
  
• 
  Define the existing business buildings to determine the proper construction of said buildings whether they’ll fit with the new architecture.
  
• 
  Define the existing establishments such as malls, clinics, hardware stores, barber shops, etc. to determine whether they’ll benefit from being put in the same confined space for businesses.
  
• 
  Whether Residential and Commercial businesses will be in one structure turning them into Mixed Land Use buildings.
  

This study is limited to the Urban infrastructure, thus these points will be excluding the from following:

• 
  Whether or not assembly buildings like Churches and Conference Centers will be changed with the new infrastructure.
  
• 
  Jails, Storage Facilities, or Parking Spaces be changed with the existing one.
  
• 
  Existing residential buildings in rural areas..
  
• 
  Existing educational buildings.
  

And the listed points above scope of the studies, we will be able to develop a significant relationship between existing architecture in relation to the existing sustainable architecture. Seeking to minimize the negative environmental impact of buildings through improved efficiency and moderation in the use of materials, energy, development space and the ecosystem.
