"The Veela, without a backward glance, without a word, Disapparated." - Here, the phrases "without a backward glance" and "without a word" are detached from the main clause "The Veela Disapparated." 3. Detached constructions

1. "The crowd roared, the flags waved, the players soared." - In this sentence, the omission of conjunctions creates a sense of rapidity and excitement, emphasizing the simultaneous actions of the crowd, flags, and players. 2. "Cheers, applause, laughter, all blending into a cacophony of sound." Here, the absence of conjunctions between "cheers," "applause," and "laughter" creates a flowing effect, emphasizing the merging of different sounds into a chaotic symphony. "Wands were raised and spells were cast and cheers erupted and flags waved, and the magical atmosphere enveloped the entire Quidditch World Cup."Here, the repeated use of "and" creates a rhythmic flow, emphasizing the successive actions and the overall magical ambiance. 3."Players dodged and weaved and maneuvered, and the Quaffle passed and the Golden Snitch danced, and the entire pitch became a stage for the magical ballet of Quidditch."
