Résumé
The article “The role of mass media in the dynamics of the linguistic
change” concentrates on different aspects of the media influence on contem-
porary linguistic situation. The author analyses the impact of mass media
on language development 1) on geolinguistic level, i.e. on how the mole of
different languages is gradually transtormed in the world’s contemporary
linguistic landscape, 2) on interlinguistic level, i.e. on how languages interact
through mass media, and finally, 3) on intralinguistic level, when attention is
focused on changes evolving in national language due to media impact.
