Madrasah of Nadir Devonbegi
Nadir Devonbegi madrasa, located in the eastern part of the Labi pool ensemble of Bukhara city, was built by Nadir Devonbegi (Nadir Mirza Togay ibn Sultan), the minister of Bukhara Khan Imam Qulikhan. He was one of the heads of the Yuz clan and lived and worked in the late 16th - early 17th centuries. The madrasa was built between 1622-1623. It dates back to the late Middle Ages.If we talk about the specific aspects of the architectural monument, the building was originally built as a caravanserai, and was converted into a madrasa by the decision of the khan. It does not have a porch, a mosque and a large classroom typical of madrasahs. The decoration of the madrasa facade is remarkable with such details as the depiction of a fantastic bird. It is different from other architectural monuments in Bukhara.
Kokaldosh madrasah
The madrasa founded by Qulbobo Kokaldosh in the capital of the Bukhara Khanate in 1568/69 has maintained the status of the largest madrasa in Central Asia since that time .In 1568-1569, the Kokaldosh madrasa was located in one of the central streets of the capital of the Bukhara Khanate , in Qoqilai hurd [9] or Kokaldosh guzar, during the reign of the Uzbek ruler Abdullah Khan II (1557-1598), at the request of the khan , his close minister and It was built under the donation of the commander Qulbobo Kaldosh . It is superior to the previous madrasahs in terms of its size and area , during this period not only in Bukhara but also in Central Asia ( Central Asia [16]) is the largest madrasah facility and has retained this status until now. It is said that the bathroom included in the endowment of the Kokaldosh madrasa was in the place of the current Maulana Sharif's house . According to the will of the founder of the foundation, students of the madrasah were supposed to bathe in this bath for free. After the building fell into disrepair, Maulana Sharif bought a plot of land in the village of Dungiyan to donate it to the madrasa foundation. In return, the bath will be transferred to his private property, he will demolish the bath and build a house in its place. Students lived in dormitories. 2 students lived in one room. A student who left classes for 2 months without a valid reason was expelled from the madrasa. Mudarris has been providing free education for several years by accepting a group of students. Then he was given an annual salary from the foundation of the madrasa. According to the data, madrasa students are divided into the following 3 categories. Low step - annual salary is 3 golds, studied from Sarf ilm to Tahzib; Miyona - received 3.5 gold per year, studied from Tahzib to Mulla Jalal; Pesh qadam continued after Mulla Jalal and received 5 gold per year .
