Article 279. Documents required for obtaining permission to carry out 
activities as a customs broker 
To obtain permission to carry out activities as a customs broker, a 
legal entity shall submit an application to the State customs Committee of 
the Republic of Uzbekistan, which shall indicate: 
name of the legal entity; 
availability of specialists in customs clearance, indicating the 
numbers of qualification certificates; 
location (postal address) of the legal entity, including phone number

and code in accordance with the General classification of enterprises and 
organizations (GCEO); 
bank details. 
he application for obtaining permission to carry out activities as a 
customs broker is accompanied by a document confirming the provision of 
customs payments in accordance with Chapter 47 of this Code (with the 
exception of the Diplomatic service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of 
the Republic of Uzbekistan, which provides customs clearance services to 
diplomatic representatives and consular offices of foreign states in the 
Republic of Uzbekistan, representative offices of international 
intergovernmental organizations and equivalent representative offices, as 
well as their staff). 
The application for issuing permission to carry out activities as a 
customs broker may indicate the electronic address of the legal entity. The 
indication in the application for issuing permission of the electronic 
address of the legal entity is his consent to receive notification of the 
decision on his application in electronic form through the information 
system. 
The requirement from the applicant to provide documents not 
provided for by this article is not allowed. 
The liability for the accuracy of the information contained in the 
application for permission to carry out activities as a customs broker lies 
with the legal entity.
