I. Fanning mazmuni
Fanning asosiy maqsadi talabaning bo‘lg‘usi ilmiy va kasbiy faoliyatini muvaffaqiyatli amalga oshirishida kerak bo‘ladigan muloqot til ko‘nikmalari va malakasini xalqaro talablar (jumladan, CEFR) darajasida rivojlantirishdan iborat.
Fanning vazifasi talabalarga ingliz tilini o‘rganishga qo‘yilgan talablar asosida sohaga oid inglizcha matnni o‘qib, mazmunini bayon qilib bera olishlarini yoki berilgan o‘zbekcha matnni ingliz tiliga o‘gira olishlarini o‘rgatishdan iborat.

III. Amaliy mashg‘ulotlar buyicha ko‘rsatma va tavsiyalar
Kurs davomida tilning asosan 4 ta til ko‘nikmasi (Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing) ga keng e'tibor qaratiladi.
Talabalar masofaviy platformadagi mashqlarni onlayn ishlab til ko‘nikmalarini rivojlantirishga muvaffaq bo‘ladilar. Har bir darsda tinglab tushinish, gapirish, o‘qish, va yozish ko‘nikmalarini rivojlantirish, grammatik va leksik bilimlarni boyitish uchun mashq va topshiriqlar beriladi.
Har bir darsda yozib olingan video dars, prezentatsiya va qo‘shimcha materiallar taqdim etiladi va o‘zlashtirilgan bilim test orqali nazorat qilib boriladi.
Amaliy mashg‘ulotlar multimedia qurilmalari bilan jihozlangan auditoriyada bitta guruhga (12-15 talaba) bir professor-o‘qituvchi tomonidan o‘tkazilishi zarur. Mashg‘ulotlar faol va interaktiv usullar yordamida o‘tilishi, mos ravishda munosib pedagogik va axborot texnologiyalar qo‘llanilishi maqsadga muvofiq.

V. Fan o‘qitilishining natijalari (shakllanadigan ko‘nikma va kompetentsiyalar)
Fanni o‘zlashtirish natijasida talaba:
• Til o‘rganuvchi sifatida: egallayotgan mutaxassisligi va sohasiga ingliz tilida tavsif bera olishi, tarjimon sifatida: chet tilidan ona tiliga, ona tilidan chet tiliga turli matn va nutqlarni og‘zaki va yozma shaklda, to‘g‘ri va sifatli tarjima qila olish ko‘nikmasiga;
• ilmiy sohada: o‘rganilayotgan sohasi bo‘yicha ilmiy izlanishlar olib borish kompetentsiyasiga;
• ta’lim sohasida: uzluksiz ta’lim muassasalarida o‘quv jarayonini tashkil etish va o‘tkazilishiga ko‘maklashish (o‘quv personali), tadqiqotlarda ishtirok etish, ma’lumotlarni to‘plash, umumiy o‘rta, o‘rta maxsus, kasb-hunar ta’lim muassasalari o‘quv mashg‘ulotlarini o‘tkazish, zamonaviy pedagogik va axborot texnologiyalarini egallash va tadbiq etish ko‘nikmasiga;
• dunyoqarash tavsifidagi bilimlar tizimiga ega bo‘ladi;

VII. Kreditlarni olish uchun talablar:
O‘qish:
- o‘qish tezligiga rioya etish
- intonasiyaga rioya etish
- to‘g‘ri talaffuz qilish
-matnni to‘liq tushunish (90-100%)
So‘zlash:
- to‘g‘ri talaffuz qilish
- dialogni to‘liq tushunish (90-100%)
- grammatik qoidalarga to‘liq rioya etish
- savollarga to‘liq javob bera olish
Yozish:
- matnda 1-4 tagacha xato bo‘lsa
- so‘z va grammatik konstruksiyalarni tushuna olish
- orfografik va stilistik jihatdan to‘g‘ri yoza olish
- fikrni to‘g‘ri ifodalay olish
- ishni rejaga mos ravishda bajarish
Tarjima qilish:
- matnning 90-100% i tarjima qilinsa
- 1-2 ta grammatik, stilistik va orfografik xatoga yo‘l qo‘yish oraliq nazorat shakllarida berilgan vazifa va topshiriqlarni bajarish, yakuniy nazorat bo‘yicha yozma ishni topshirish.
