Create a profile of communities
Background: ACWA Power is intended to construct CCGT (Combined Cycle Gas Turbine) with a total capacity of 1500 MW (Project) in Shirin town of Syrdarya region. GoU (Government of Uzbekistan) has allocated 75 ha of land plot for construction of this power plant. The land allocated for the Project is located opposite to existing “Syrdarya” thermal power plant.
In a framework Environmental and Social Impact assessment for the Project, 250 households of Shirin town and Bayavut district (Syrdarya region) were surveyed in 2020. The aim was to understand overall situation of local community, (i.e., living conditions, employment, access to social services, gender issues, etc) and assess level of impact of the Project to them.

Collected data was coded and analysed. The Excel document that is attached to this task contain quantitative results.

Using quantitative results, prepare a report and summarise information by the following categories:
