Stage 1) T cut/tear a sheet of paper into many small squares. On each square, write a profession that your students will be familiar with. The Ss takes to the “card”,( or uses flashcards) and then in pairs they have to tell each other about every day about what they y must/mustn’t/have/to/don’t have to, based on the profession you have given them.
When Ss have had some time to practise that, T get them to think of a profession of their own choosing – and then Ss get up and mingle: asking and answering questions about each other’s daily lives in order to guess what profession they are.
When Ss have guessed correctly, they move onto another person.
T monitors the group carefully while they are busy with this to ensure that they are using the target language correctly in the positive/negative/questions forms.

Stage 2) T invites children to relax and practice their pronunciation (using small tongue twisters)


Stage 2.2) Each Ss is given a card with the number of the tongue twister (the task is to pronounce the tongue twister as quickly as possible)
