Teaching Non-Linguistic Specialties Students of the Main Types of Work with a Scientific Text in the Study of the Discipline "Professional Foreign Language"

Data -- factual information [as measurements or statistics] used as a basis for reasoning, discussion, or calculation.

Data Mining -- the process of analyzing data from different perspectives and summarizing it into useful information, often to discover patterns and/or systematic relationships among variables.

Data Quality -- this is the degree to which the collected data [results of measurement or observation] meet the standards of quality to be considered valid [trustworthy] and  reliable [dependable].

Deductive -- a form of reasoning in which conclusions are formulated about particulars from general or universal premises.

Dependability -- being able to account for changes in the design of the study and the changing conditions surrounding what was studied.
