Subsection 1.2 Reason and purpose for purchasing goods
Purpose of the acquisition. Acquisition of graphite electrodes (UHP) with the best performance properties for conducting high-performance, efficient and trouble-free steelmaking processes in the DSP-100 electric arc furnace and the out-of-furnace processing unit of the electric arc furnace shop and basalt alloy in the ore-thermal furnace of the shop for the production of heat-insulating materials.
Base. Ensuring, in accordance with the standards, the need for graphite electrodes for conducting smelting processes at the rear, followed by the production of rolled ferrous metals and the smelting of basalt alloy, followed by the production of heat-insulating materials
Subsection 1.3 Novelty Notice
The product is delivered new, produced no earlier than 2021.

SECTION 2. SCOPE
Graphite electrodes ( UHP ) are used in the production process of steel smelting in the DSP-100 UMK electric furnace (d 610 mm), steel processing at AKOS (d 400 mm ) and in the production of heat-insulating materials based on basalt (d 300 mm)
SECTION 3 - OPERATING CONDITIONS
Subsection 3.1 General operating conditions
The graphite electrode serves as a material conducting current into the furnace space for heating and subsequent melting of the charge at high temperatures up to 1700 °C.
Subsection 3.2 Additional/special operating requirements
Complete with graphite electrodes, nipples are supplied, which serve as a connecting element of several electrodes in one candle (phase).
