Abstract - Cloud computing technology has revolutionized the way companies and individuals’ access, store and process data and applications. This article provides a brief overview of the key aspects of cloud computing technology, its benefits and impact on various industries. Cloud computing involves the provision of computing services including storage, processing power, and software applications over the Internet. This technology offers scalability, flexibility and cost-effectiveness, allowing organizations to optimize their IT resources and focus on core business activities. Cloud computing is divided into three main service models: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS). This article explores the benefits of cloud computing, such as on-demand provisioning, remote access, and reduced upfront costs. Particular attention is also paid to the role of virtualization in the cloud infrastructure, allowing many virtual machines to run on a single physical server, maximizing the use of resources.
