9. Bartender (and other part-time jobs)
Bartending was specifically identified in the surveys as a
common way for people to make extra money, although
there were other part-time jobs that fell into this category.
This basically includes those jobs where you only work a
few hours a week, such as weekend retail jobs.
These work well as an extra income
source in addition to
your main job, as
you don’t have to do them during regular
office hours
. You could also consider only doing this at
certain times of
the year, like on a seasonal basis.
10. Driving for Uber
It’s no surprise that driving for Uber (and similar ones like
Lyft) was one of the most popular choices in the surveys.
