The chart bellow shows changes in the number of international students in Australia in 2019 and 2020. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting to main features and make comparisons where relevant. The bar chart compares the changes in terms of international students population in Australia in two separate years(2019 and 2020). Overall, China with dominating numbers of students in both years had a slight decrease, while India and Nepal experienced a negligible growth in numbers over the same period. It is also clear that changes in quantity of Vietnamese, Brazilian and Malaysian students were minimal. The figure for Chinese students slightly decreased from 182,325 in 2019 to 167,568 in 2020. India with 92,024 students in 2019, reached 108,049 in 2020. In third place by number of students, Nepal with 46,382 in 2019 showed an increase by reaching 50,252 students count in 2020. Despite Vietnam, Brazil and Malaysia had minimal changes of approximately 1000 students in figures ,only Vietnam showed the slight growing among three of them by increasing from 22,204 in 2019 to 23,268 in 2020. The number of Brazilian and Malaysian students, however, went down from 22,859 and 21,736 to 21,086 and 19,564 respectively. The chart below shows percentages of water used in different sectors in Sydney, Australia in 1997 and 2007. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant. The pie chart shows the changes in the percentages of water usage for five different industrial purposes in Sydney, Australia in 1997 and 2007. Overall, despite decreasing trend in water usage for food production purposes, food industry’s share remained the highest in both years. It’s also clear that water consumption in service industry showed increase, with percentages being doubled. Food industry held the position of highest water consuming sector in both years, amounting to 48% in 1997 whereas that of 2007 was slightly lower, at 41%. Similar trend with holding the position of industry with lowest water consumption figures showed the building industry by dropping to 2% in 2007 from 5% in 1997. Service industry experienced a significant improvement in water usage ratio with figures increasing from 13% in 1997 to 25% in 2007, which led to the occupation of one quarter of the total water allocation in 2007. Household purposes had a slight increase to 21% in 2007 from that of 19% in 1997. However, manufacturing sector’s figures went down from 15% in 1997 to 11% in 2007. Download 7.15 Kb.
