The linegraph illustrates the amount of spending money on books in four different countries(Germany, France, Italy, Austria) which were spending over 30 years from 1995 to 2005. Unit are measeured in million US Dollars.
Overall, spending money on books increased slowly over the period every countries. It the start of the period, spending money on books was the highest in Germany about 80 among these countries. In contrast spending money on books was the lowest in Austria approximately 30.
During in the following 4 years buying books rised others, it fluctuated slightly in Italy and dropped to 50 in 1999. At the end of the period, buying books in Italy growed slowly by just over 10, which was replaced by Austria from 2001 to 2005. Spending money on books in Germany reached a peak of just under 100 in 2005. Likewise just over 70 of spent was bought books in France final years.

The linegraphs gives information the amount of electricity produced in France namely thermal, nuclear, hydroelectric and renewables over 30 years from between 1980 and 2010. Units are measured in terawatt hours.


Overall, nuclear power had became the most important source of electricity over the period. It’s increased sharply by just under 350 terawatt hours. During this period, no significant change was observed in the rest.
In 1980, thermal power was the most important source in France, generating around 120 terawatt hours of power. In contrast renewables power was almost unnecessary. Nuclear and hydroelectric power had almost similar figure. Just one year later, nuclear power replaced with thermal.
After this, electricity production from nuclear power grew rapidly until over the period and it had reached a peak of just under 450 terawatt hours in 2005. By contrast thermal and hydroelectric power fluctuated and dropped to just above 50 terawatt hours. With regards to renewables power, it rose slowly to approximately 25 terawatt hours over the period.

The linegraphs represents the percentage of internet users in three different countries namely USA, Canada, Mexico at 2-years intervals from 1999 to 2009.


Overall, during this time internet usage had grown in all countries. In the beginning of the period the percentage of the population using the internet was the highest in the USA around 20% and the lowest in Mexico just under 10%.
For the following 4 years the percentage of the population using the internet increased significantly in USA to just under 50% which was replaced by Canada between 1999 and 2003. Over the next 6 years the percentage of internet users grew sharply in Canada and it had reached a peak of just above 90% in 2009. Likewise over the period the percentage of the population using the internet rose slightly in Mexico to approximately 40%. this indicator has also grown noticeably in the USA by about 30%.

The line graph compares average yearly spending by U.S citizens on mobile and landline services in the first decade of the 21st century. Units are measured in millions of dollars.


It’s clear that spending on cell phone expenditure increased significantly about three fold. However spending on residential phones expenditure decreased steadily from 2001 to 2010. In 2006, they had the same figure.
Americans spent an average of just under $700 on landline services, compared to around $200 on cell phone services in the beginning of the period. For the following 5 years, spending on cell phone expenditure grew moderately to just above $400. In contrast expenditure on residential phone services dropped slowly by $200 between 2001 and 2005.
Similarly over the next 5 years, spending on landline services continued to decline and it reached the lowest point to $400 in 2010. However, spending on cell phone expenditure grew considerably by about $350 from 2006 to 2010, and it reached a peak of approximately $750 in 2010.
