Write a page report about how you can extend the lesson from Homework Task One outside of the classroom.

Most of the teachers believe that learning language happens in the classroom, however, there are many opportunities that can help students organize their learning outside the classroom and it has a lot of benefits. In the millennium of information technologies there are lots of opportunities for learning outside the classroom, namely using technology and internet, listening songs and lyrics, watching movies, out-of-class projects, etc.

One of the possible ways of starting the learning outside can be using special websites which helps to advance language and communication skills of non-native English speakers. According to Day and Robb, (2015) state that using websites in learning the target language is “an excellent vehicle for learning that language”. Researchers that learners who use websites and who are digitally literate in using IT tools can develop language skills including listening, speaking, reading and writing. More than that using websites increases motivation and positive attitude to learning the target language. The idea of being able of competent use of IT can be successfully implemented in teaching Reading and Writing lessons that are included for Year 1, 2 and 3. Reading and Writing tasks, namely Information Gap or Opinion Gap tasks can be used as strategies for formative assessment as it will give students an opportunity to do it. Consequently, they enhance learners to develop the habit of speaking fluently. Another option can be use of internet which are writing and posting blogs. It is known that all students have the skills of using IT in their learning and studying process. They all can use their mobiles with internet in writing their homework assignments or other tasks that are given as a form of outside learning. This encourages students in developing their writing and experiencing _{different forms of writing texts.}
