Biz Present Continuous dan
🔹 hozirda sodir bo'layotgan
Jan is watching a DVD upstairs. - Jen DVD tomosha qilyapti.

🔹 Vaqtinchalik ish harakatni ifodalashda


She is working at the museum until the end of the month. - Oyning oxirigacha u muzeyda ishlayapti

🔹 Yomon odatlarni ifodalashda, asosan always bilan


My brother is always borrowing my CDs without asking. - Mening akam doim CDlarimni so'ramasdan oladi.
Gap yasalishi
Present Continuous da gap tuzish uchun biz to be ning mos shaklini qo'yib (ya'ni am, is, are) va fe'lga -ing qo'shamiz.
Subject + to be (am, is, are) + Verb + ing
Masalan: I am playing. - Men o'ynayapman.
You are playing. - Sen o'ynayapsan.
Your brother is playing chess. - Sening ukang shaxmat o'ynayapti.

🔴 Inkor gap tuzmoqchi bo'lganimizda esa, to be dan keyin not yuklamasini qo'yamiz; are not, am not yoki is not


Odatda bularni qisqartma shaklidan foydalaniladi.
are not = aren't
I am not = I'm not
is not = isn't
I'm not playing chess = Men shaxmat o'ynamayapman.

❓ So'roq gap tuzmoqchi bo'lganimizda, to be yordamchi fe'lining mos shaklini egadan oldinga qo'yamiz.


Are you playing chess? - Shaxmat o'ynayapsizmi?
Is your brother reading a book? - Akangiz kitob o'qiyaptimi?
Javob berish uchun ham to be dan foydalanamiz:
✅ Ha deyish uchun:
Yes, I am
Yes, he is

❌ Yo'q deyish uchun


No, I'm not
No he isn't

Yodda saqlang!


Present Continuous asosan quyidagi so'zlar bilan keladi.
now - hozir
right now - aynan hozirgi vaqtda
at the moment - ayni damda
today - bugun
this week/month - bu hafta/oy

Undan tashqari, Look! bilan boshlanadigan gaplar ham Present Continuousda bo'ladi!
