OUR UNIVERSITY 

 

I study at Tashkent State Technical University  named after Islam Karimov.   

At present I am a first year student of Bachelor’s course of  Prospecting and Geology (Mining 

and Metallurgy) faculty.  Our University is situated in the University street. 

 

I decided to study by this profession, to get more knowledge and practice in this field. 

  It has many faculties situated not far from each other. The main building is a seven-storied 

magnificent building with many class-rooms, lecture halls, studies, canteens and libraries.  

More than 7 thousand students study here. 

The students have all conditions for their study.  

They live in the hostels; all of them get stipends and medical service.  

At the University a special attention is paid to sports training of students.  

Many students go in for sports here.  

Every student is glad to study here and they are proud of their University.
