The theme of the lesson: Lesson 5. Sport: for and against.


The aim of the lesson:


Educational: giving information about sport games, kinds of sports, generalizing the

knowledge of the pupils on new theme, enlarging the vocabulary of the pupils.

Developing: improving pupils’ writing, reading, speaking, and listening skills.


Bringing up: bringing up all pupils in the spirit of loving Sport.


The type of the lesson: oral and written.


The method of the lesson: reproductive.


Expected results: a) to increase pupils’ vocabulary, oral speech.
b) to learn to make up sentences using “I agree/disagree that…”
c) to talk about their favourite sports.
d) to increase pupils’ interest to English
Equipments: 7^th form “Fly High”, computer, map, pictures, handouts, cards, blackboard, a piece of chalk.
