There is a view that smartphones should be prohibited in schools. Although the idea seems positive in all of its aspects,
I still disagree with the given proposal because there must be some exceptions to this rule.
Using devices, in fact, a distracting thing and can be reason for false sense of understanding during the class, and it must be banned in schools. It is the distracting technology that can be reason for not catching the lesson or lecture. In extreme cases, using phones for a long time without any break can harm students vision. 
There are some specific cases when smartphones should be allowed , however. In every country’s schools there is time when students can use their phones. This tolerant rule is accepted almost in every school. However there can be a reason why students have to use their phones at school. For instance, they might be ill and must take a pill for about in every hour , if at school using phones is prohibited they may forget about pills and also their parent cant remind them to take. This example suggests that it’s possible to keep using devices without lettingany distractions like playing online games, watching videos, to name a few. Also , if the using devices is to be banned totally, the interest for it would arise, which is the part of human nature. 
In conclusion, I do believe that schools should ban using modern technologies, but certain exceptions such as the one presented above, must also be considered.
