Thus, speech is inseparable from thinking, speech develops on the basis of thinking; the thought matures with the help of speech, emerges. On the other hand, the growth of speech helps to shape and improve thinking.
How to improve student speech is related to other types of activities. Pupils’ speech development is also integrated with other subjects. In mother tongue classes, students learn about nature and human life through language: they learn to observe, think, and accurately describe what they see, hear, and read. Mother tongue lessons help to enrich children’s vocabulary and teach them to compose speech correctly.
Reading lessons and related observations, field trips provide students with knowledge about natural phenomena, human life and work, ethics, norms of dealing with other people; this course provides ample opportunities for children’s speech, its formation and development.
With special language training in grammar and spelling classes, children learn to hear and say specific sounds, syllables, words, and phrases.
